The Excuses:
I'm a bit troubled that this page should exist at all, since it seems a collossal piece of vanity without good excuse. Still, it was requested, and to the extent that it promotes Clean Sheets, it may do some marginal good. The pieces below appear in roughly reverse chronological order, and all are in Clean Sheets or its remarkable archives.
The Links:
Condom Sense (Article) (4/4/01): Condoms, recipes, and broomsticks. You'll see.
The Sharing (Exotica) (3/7/01): A short tale of exhibitionism and fog.
On the Line (Exotica) (11/29/00): Written under pseudonym to avoid the confusion of a male author and a female narrator, it's a short tale of phone sex and dark dreams.
Bad Sex (Article) (10/25/00): A piece for which I should take no credit at all. Original concept by Susannah Indigo, writing compiled from the Clean Sheets staff, and a short introduction.
Sibling Rivalry (Editorial) (10/18/00): A welcome (?) to our sister magazine.
Fantasies in Rush Hour (Fiction) (10/4/00): A short tale of daydreaming in heavy traffic.
Two Years of the Clean Sheets Mosaic (Editorial) (10/4/00): With Mary Anne Mohanraj. Clean Sheets second anniversary editorial.
Woman: An Intimate Geography -- Natalie Angier (Review) (8/23/00): Co-authored with Kris Bierk. An extrordinary book about our shared humanity, whatever the title.
Amorphik: An Erotic Constellation - Edited by Simon Sellars (Review) (6/7/00): Co-authored with Kris Bierk. Erotica and science fiction steeped in androgeny -- an under-recognized gem from our Australian friends.
Ferocious Romance: What my Encounters With the Religious Right Taught Me About Sex, God, and Fury - by Donna Minkowitz (Review) (9/8/99): BDSM and the religious right in a single, well written book.
